My Favorite Place was founded in 1993 and believes that .......

Children are naturally curious and excited.  When teachers present materials at appropriate times, in interesting ways, children can use their natural instincts to gain deeper knowledge in a multitude of topics.

Lessons and activities are integrated to incorporate cognitive, physical, language, creative, and social/emotional skills.  This means that each day - many times a day - your child will be gaining proficiency in the following areas:  scientific and mathematical thinking and reasoning; fine and gross motor skills, including balance, strength, coordination and agility;  speaking, listening, and (pre)reading skills; musical, artistic, and dramatic abilities; and forming and building relationships, while practicing conflict resolution and appropriate social skills.

When learning and skills are presented through fun and exciting, age appropriate activities, children learn at their individual levels, each one building a solid foundation for lifelong learning.
